  I enjoyed walking in the caves! Volcanic by formation, Musanze caves take you under a 1.25 mile long [40 min walk] subway. It feels like hell when you turn off the flashlights as you hear bat sounds, echoing drops of water that comes from the top, and the weirdest darkness. But it's all safe and fun. You'll be with at least 3 guides who are armed... just in case of any incidence. I would say this is the remotest place I've been at in Rwanda...after Muhabura Volcano
