::Four steps hotel is good. Best building, big garden with many bingolon. Costumer care services is good despite slow services. The swimming pool is big and clean, maitre. Nager is always around. And the pool has a good disposition around garden and bar pool, the music is good. The price is fair. The conference room is small not feet the level of hotel. The food are delicious and and their brouchette are good mostly zingaro. The garden is good. Is best place to take in nap.

::We made a one night stopover in Huye (= Butare) to visit the very worthwhile ethnographic museum on our way back from Nyungwe to Kigali. If you are following the same route make sure to make a stopover at the Murambi genocide memorial along the way. We found the Four Steps hotel the nicest option in the area. It is set in the very quiet and smart residential area just minutes walking from both the bus station and the museum. The hotel is a large building set in extensive lush gardens with a swimming pool. There are standard double rooms for 45,000 RWF (some wiggle room for negotiation in the low season) and very large suites for 60,000. Make sure you look at a couple of rooms - they vary quite a bit in quality. Our double room was large and clean. It had a king size bed with mosquito net, a tube TV, an ensuite bathroom with a hot shower (only really hot if you keep the volume of water down to a trickle), and a little enclosed balcony with view of the gardens. Everything is upper end by Rwanda standards but a bit tired by western standards. If you find these prices too high, there are some simpler motels close by in the same residential area. The Four Steps has a good restaurant that serves breakfast (included) and dinner with an extensive menu. There are also tables in the garden and pool side and we had a more romantic dinner there instead. The staff is friendly and helpful. They like to pump rather loud music in the garden but thankfully it stopped around 6pm. Evidently weddings are a big part of their business and I suspect the music might pump all night if they have one. This hotel has changed name in the past. It used te be called "Le Petit Prince". It is currently called "The Four Steps" and that is what the sign on the hotel and the signs in town currently say. The (new) owner told us that it will be renamed again to "Crown Resort Hotel" soon.

::Great hotel, friendly but slow staff (long waiting times in the restaurant, food was ok), good price performance and a recommendation.
