  Hotel Karibu is a paradise that is built around Lake Kivu & is simply breathtaking. It is a family run business and they make every effort to ensure you have a happy & comfortable stay. It is a wonderful refuge to come home to after a day exploring or trek with the Gorillas. My stay here was a highlight especially due to the hospitality of the family who run it. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

  L'endroit a dû être prestigieux, mais il souffre du poids des années. Sinon, chouette piscine, beaux jardins, calme, tennis, personnel avenant. Vous pouvez y aller sans crainte.

  Je n'y ai jamais logé mais le cadre est super ! J'y promène mon chien le week-end et je vais courir dans cette grande propriété. Avec un accès au lac très agréable !

  I'm quite surprised that no comprehensive comment has been written about this treasure of Goma. Few hours spent in this quiet and secluded setting, inspired me the inner poet deep inside me. I was flabbergasted by the scenic cottages, with a soft touch of nature, surrounded by posh green gardens and neighboring Lake Kivu. The people working there were welcoming and the breakfast service was rapid. I loved the breakfast. At the earliest hours of the morning, you can listen to fishermen singing as they row their little boats, the chirping of countless birds and the sound of the breezes caressing the old trees that bear testimonies of thousands of stories. If you wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the town or if you are proceeding on vacation or business trip to this part of the world, then I'll strongly recommend Hotel Karibu. As for me, one visit hasn't been enough; I'll come again to Hotel Karibu.
